Bastinado
Bastinado, also called foot whipping, is a form of impact play focused on the soles of the feet.
What is bastinado?
Bastinado is the striking of the soles of the feet. In a BDSM context, it is a form of impact play that may appeal through sensation, vulnerability or an agreed power dynamic.
The feet can be injured by impact, so bastinado should never be treated as risk-free. Everyone involved must agree to the activity and its limits, and be able to stop it at any time.
