Objectification
A consensual form of psychological domination in which the submissive is treated as an object, possession or functional thing for the pleasure and control of their Mistress.
Objectification is a psychological form of BDSM play centred on surrendering individuality and being treated as an object, possession or functional thing rather than an equal participant.
Within a consensual session, a Mistress may dictate how the submissive is positioned, displayed, addressed or used. They might become furniture, a footrest, an ornament, a human ashtray or simply an obedient possession required to remain exactly where they are placed.
For some, the appeal lies in humiliation and the deliberate removal of status. For others, it is the simplicity of complete surrender: becoming useful, decorative or entirely subject to the Mistress’s will.
Objectification can be subtle and ceremonial or intensely degrading, depending upon the agreed dynamic, boundaries and interests of those involved. As with all BDSM practices, limits and consent are established beforehand.
